Marketing tools

1 tools

One tool, aimed at the step before you write anything: turning a seed term into a map of what people actually search for. It generates keyword ideas around a phrase, then groups and clusters them so related intents sit together instead of arriving as a flat list of hundreds of rows.

Why clustering beats a keyword list

Keyword lists are easy to produce and hard to use. The value is in the grouping: "convert pdf to word", "pdf to docx free" and "open pdf in word" are one page, while "why is my pdf not editable" is a different page doing a different job. Sorting by intent is what turns a list into a plan -- one target per cluster, instead of five pages competing for the same query.

Parsepad reports no search volume, difficulty score, or CPC for these ideas, and estimates none behind the scenes -- there is no licensed source for those numbers here, and a modelled figure presented as a measurement is worse than no figure at all. What you get is the cluster structure, which is the durable part of the output anyway.

How to choose a Marketing tool

Use it at the point in the workflow that matches your question.

Starting a topic from scratch

Seed with the broadest term you would accept ranking for, then read the clusters before writing a single brief.

Expanding a page that already ranks

Seed with the query it ranks for and look for adjacent intents it does not answer yet.

Deciding between two ideas

Compare cluster coherence, not just size. A tight cluster of ten related queries beats a scattered fifty.
